German-owned (later Dutch-owned) rayon manufacturer founded by German rayon company in 1925 in Elizabethtown, Tennessee. Manufactured parachute cloth during WWII; became Bemberg Industries but closed in 1970s. The Fair Employment Practice Committee (FEPC) received complaint from German-born complainant over dismissal because of alienage; FEPC action suspended because it was alienage case over which jurisdiction was not determined.
